Thank you for the kind words.

I have a top-notch medical team, including the same radiologist who helped me beat esophogeal cancer 14 years ago. The first step, getting the tumor out of my leg, went quite well, and I'm able to walk fairly well, including stairs, barely a week out of surgery. When the radiation treatment of what is left of my femur starts, I expect to make many of those days street photography days in Seattle as I walk from the ferry dock up to my treatment (the X100 is always with me).

And I have a supportive wife and friends.

But it is pancreatic cancer this time, and I'm trying to be realistic about what is to come.
