Hi Al,

I'm in Vancouver, the first port of most Alaska cruises. Which one are you going on?

My friends went on a cruise recently and their pictures of glaciers tend to have a bluish cast. Since you're metering on a lot of white, you might want to overexpose somewhat. But bracketing up would be best. Personally, I might bring a warming filter as well... 81B probably. I've never been on an Alaskan cruise so I'm not really speaking from first hand experience. I hope others will give you more helpful advice.
