Folks - I am going to be visiting the Bay Area June 17-21, and depending on schedule, may be open to shooting on June 19 or early on the 20th. I am staying in the East Bay Area with another Nikon shooter.

Also, if you don't mind sharing, do you have any favorite shooting spots that aren't choked with tourists on weekends? It is my first trip to the Bay Area, and I am looking to avoid the typical packed areas, and taking stereotypical pictures. For example, I am actively avoiding Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz on this trip. However, I am interested in shooting in Golden Gate Park, which will probably be busy depending on weather. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!
