This is like a piece of sculpture, the likes of Henry Moore coming to mind. FWIW, my wife and I visited western Canada in June-July, and we heard from several locals that the amount of driftwood was unusually high. Last year’s tsunami in Japan was the primary culprit, we were told, as much of the driftwood was not American.
