Hi Glen,

I have been using Metz flashes for decades and they have always been extremely reliable and served me very well.
While I don't have the 15 MS-1 Ring Flash it should work the same way as the Nikon R1 system does controlled by the built-in Speedlight in Commander mode or SB-700, SB-800, SB-900, SB-910, SU-800, or one of the Metz Speedlights with Commander mode.
