Last time I checked there were several manufacturers of DSLRs. Shocking to see that a company would actually sell a model similar to that of another brand, not to mention several different DSLRs. Why should point and shoots or EVILs be any different? And who says the competition is technically better? Unless you were beta testing preproduction models, I don't think you should make that claim.
And if a company feels they can make a buck selling a shoe box pinhole camera, I say go for it. Though I'm sure there will be a pinhead somewhere who will complain.
