Hope someone does try this device. It seems as if it cannot work being just a magnifying glass at a fixed distance from the Monitor. Why would that 'shade' the monitor screen in bright sun or is there something I'm missing? I tried a hand held magnifier in bright sun as an experiment. It didn't work!
Its cheap enough.
