I've used one with my D60, and it works as promised.
A couple of caveats before you get one, though. a) they write very slowly. The difference is really noticeable & slows things down a lot. b) Remember it's not GPS. It does its location finding based on wi-fi in the area. So, if you're, for instance, going hiking into a rural area where wi-fi is scarce, it's not going to be much help. Taking pictures in a city, though, it does fine.
