Hi Nikonians,

I have a family party coming up and will be taking photos indoor in a dimly lit restaurant I have a sb400 flash which I will attach to my D90. I have a 18-105 kit lens or a 50mm 1.8 prime lens to choose from. All of the shots will be taken at close range. What lens do you think will be the best one to use?,
