Hi Pinaki,
Welcome to Nikonians! The Pros: Class 10 cards have a faster read and write speed which means, if you shoot fast and hard, they will clear the buffer faster than slower cards. They will allow you to download the images to your computer faster as long as you have a fast card reader.
Cons: Class 10 cards are more expensive than the slower cards. Both Sandisk and Lexar make excellent and very reliable memory cards. Be careful where you buy them since the higher end cards are often counterfeited so know your retailer. Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!

Also considering getting UHS-1 rated SDHC card. D7000 does take advantage of the extra speed. Every little bit help and the cost is only a few $$ above standard class-10 cards.
