Has any one seen details of the buffer size on the D7000?
6 fps is probably enough for me but not if the camera then freezes while the images are transferred to the memory cards.

According the D7000 user's manual:

12 bit RAW, lossless compression 11
14 bit RAW, lossless compression 10
12 bit RAW, compressed 15
14 bit RAW, compressed 12
JPEG Fine Large 31
