Just wondering where you guys are getting the best deals.Looks like you can but new ones for close to used.I bought a used one that only had 500 clicks but that was some time ago.I want a new one to keep from a lot of lens changing.I use mainly a 18-200DX and I plan to use the other with my 12-24.Thanks guys

Howard, You may want to wait until spring since there have been rumors (for a while now) of an updated D7000 appearing on the scene.

I got mine fom Amazon for $896.95 with free shipping to Miami and no sales tax. Amazon service was great, as usual.

I added an 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR II ED for $600 and SB700 for $299 and got a Nikon bag and two class 10 16GB SD cards for free.

Amazon also had the deal with the 18-105 lens but I did not like the plastic mount on the 18-105 and loved the additional range of the 18-200.

I just paid $750 for a manufacturer refurb at Adorama via ebay.
The last few years I've purchased cameras, lenses & SB900s all refurbed and no problems.

I bought the bundled D7000 kit at my local camera shop for the same price as Costco, Best Buy, and etc...much better service & knowledge, plus I helped a local business.

IIRC they have the body for 899 with free shipping, but not sure for how long or whatever
