I had the opportunity to take a few shots today at the Zion Nostalgia Day Car Show with the incredible D3200. Here are a few of them:

All of the photos in this post were taken with a Nikkor 10-24 in aperture priority mode.

Focal length: 15mm; ISO 100; f:4; 1/800

Focal length: 10mm; ISO 100; f:4.5; 1/400

Focal length: 10mm; ISO 100; f:4; 1/500

Focal length: 12mm; ISO 100; f:3.8; 1/125

This is a self portrait. I'm the young guy with the camera, and my wife is the beautiful young blond with the designer red purse.

Focal length: 18mm; ISO 320; f:5; 1/125

Here is a 200% crop of the steering wheel in the last photo:

I'm sorry if I've gotten carried away, but the resolution of this small and relatively inexpensive camera just amazes me.

Here are two 100% crops of the original images.

There was no post processing of any of the images other than the crops, of course. I used the NEFS straight out of the camera and converted them to small jpegs in ViewNX2.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Here is the serial number on the firewall. This is a 400% crop.

Great shots.

How much of the great resolution is down to the lens and your technique do you think?

Cheers,
Suzy
