why D3000 has no gps?
All the Nikon recent release support gps, but only D3000, why?

Surely a combination of reasons:
- positioning of the lowest model of camera
- eliminates some amount of cost, important on the lowest price model
- simplicity of operation
- likely Nikon felt that this feature might not appeal to the majority of d3000 buyers

It seems that geotagging will to be a must in the future for all digital cameras and that will not cost any extra payment for the buyer. Nikon has always been the leading in the field. So I do not understand why D3000 has no gps too.
My Easytagger can do the post processing too. But I never trouble myself to do that since it can geotag directly.

The D3000 is also a generation old and has been superseded by the D3100.
