Did anyone notice the rash of D200, D300, D2X being "liquidated" on the first page of the "I want to sell" forum? I am reasonably sure this is the results of upgraditis to D700.

That's how I found out about the D700. I haven't been paying too much attention, then saw D300's for $1400 and wondered if the recession was worse than I thought. Vince

I haven't noticed anymore than the usual amount; the 200's, D2x's have been up for sale for some time now; the 300's were selling prior to the release of the 700.

I couldn't resist the bargain temptation and bought a second D200 from B&H and its on its way to Australia. One good reason for these rapid technological development is you can still pick up excellent cameras at bargain prices.
