"Question from a Newb"

Okay, so I just went from the D80 to the D700, and am in heaven!, I do have a (probably) dumb question though, when viewing my pics in camera, pressing the back arrow button, the shot info is always popping up, because the button is too sensitive, and I am accidentally pressing the arrow up instead, is there anything I can do about that because it drives me crazy when I am trying to scroll through my pics thanks!

There are a couple things you can do...

First, in View, you can use the command dial to change from photo to photo to photo instead of the multiselector

Second, if you find you tend to press up and down more than side to side when using the multiselector, you can use your in-menu settings to reverse what the dial does when you press up/down or right/left

But what you are describing is one of the D700 users main gripes -- the loose multiselector.

I envy you! I have the D80 as well and my dream is to pick-up the D700 at some point.

Little known feature - press the zoom button once and you can then use the rear command dial to scroll backwards/forwards through the images (without needing to use the multi-selector at all).
