Got a hold of Manny Librado. I was asking him if he was going to be doing any seminars out here in Southern California.

First off, correction. 50 participants, not 5.

Nope....Nikon has nothing to do with this. It is a
personal thing.

What will it cover?

Half day shoot and half day post-processing.

How much?

Not sure about this one yet, But my Singapore
workshops generated for me &#*@ USD for a 3 day
workshop (different set of participants each day) plus
airplane fare and accommodation.

My workshop demonstrates portraiture with the use of
natural light. Plus we also need a model.

Feel free to negotiate ifever. My available time is
only June and July.

I'd be interested. Would be nice to get together with Filipino Nikonians and also get in a workship. Of course, depends on pricing too. BTW, I'm in the Chicago area.

I can get really attractive models.
But I don't know anyone who can sport the makeup/hair.
That and we need 47 more people

I'd really like to get this under the $50 range for people.
Unfortunately that would barely cover Manny's flight/room/board that time of year.

How much would you pay to attend a 1 day workshop with him? I'm pretty much trying to see how much people would be willing to spend to get him out here, hire the models, and makeup.

yah, I wasn't sure how much things normally cost. Which is why I was wondering what a fair price is.

That would only amount to $2500 which I dont think would be enough to fly him out here, get his room/board/craft services/makeup-modeling etc.
(assuming we fill all 50 spots) Tickets here in June/July are really expensive.

Even for $100 a pop, it would still be a bargain to be able to learn how he does his portraits.

BTW, is this exclusively for Pinoys only? Need to know before I start spreading the word.

Not exclusive to Nikon users either.

From the looks of it, it's something most likely have to throw togther ourselves. I was thinking it may cost in the $70-100 range.

ungh... this is going to be REALLY tough. I can probably get 5 people. Posted on the forums I frequent thinking there would be at least a few people for sure who would want in. It backfired and have gotten no show of interest.
