Last Sunday I attended my first Nikonians Academy Workshop-- the Nikon D300. Mike Hagen was our instructor down here in Florida. I was a little apprehensive since my camera is in the shop and I have no idea when I will get it back. Mike encouraged me to attend anyway and boy am I glad I did. This was the BEST educational experience I have had in a very very long time. Every minute of the day from 8 am-5 pm (with an hour for lunch) was FILLED with information and hands on experience. Mike is an excellent teacher and he used the computer projection to show his power point and the camera menu as he instructed us on how to get into the heart and soul of our cameras. If this is an example of the level of material and instruction I will sign up for anything given in my area. Thank you Thank you Thank you... now if I could just get my camera back so I can start practicing what I learned... I am actually going to try and use some of the info with the D50 I am using in the mean time
