"D50 - Eye-fi card"

Delta, US

Has anyone ever used one of these eye-fi wireless memory cards with a d50? I know the d50 has limitations on what kind of card it can use & was wondering about one of these as long as maybe it was a 2Gig or lower. Don't want to waste time or $ ordering one if it is known not to work.

Thanks for any input/info:)
Lori

I've used one with my D60, and it works as promised.

A couple of caveats before you get one, though.
a) they write very slowly. The difference is really noticeable & slows things down a lot.
b) Remember it's not GPS. It does its location finding based on wi-fi in the area. So, if you're, for instance, going hiking into a rural area where wi-fi is scarce, it's not going to be much help. Taking pictures in a city, though, it does fine.
