"Flash Sigma EF500 and Nikon SB800"

Hello
I have a question I would like to know if some here use both flash.I have both and I would like to use them together as slave or master.My question is how I should use them,like SB800 master and the Sigma slave or Sigma master and SB800 slave or both slave.The SB 800 should be on remote? or su4

Hi,

I only have the SB800 but I would be concerned about compatibility between the flash units. I'm not sure if a Sigma unit will aceept, or interpret the commands from a Nikon unit correctly. Is there anything on the Sigma website or in the flash units documentation ?

Just found this link http://www.sigma-photo.com/flashes/manuals/F14N05094.pdf for the Sigma flash manuel. Reading through it sounds as though it should work with the Nikon Flash unit and the D70, reading through you should be able to set the D70 as the commander and the other units as slaves.
