This AF 70-300/4.5-5.6 G lens is like new. It is in the box with the Nikon instruction booklet. Newer versions of this lens have gotten expensive so here is a chance to pick up this nice range zoom Nikkor lens for a pittance. It is yours for $95 which incluses USPS Priority Mail shippig with delivery confirmation ( and you know how much that costs! )and the PayPal fees. If you have questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, Bill P.

Isn't the G lens a f/4-5.6 lens? I thought the newer VR version of the lens was f/4.5-5.6, was a little confused by the title but the price clarified it for me.

Perhaps the seller should respond. That said, I owned this lens once (first lens I ever bought when I first bought my D200 in 2006). The G is f/4 to f/5.6. The "G" was first in the 70-300 series, followed by the 70-300 ED (non-vr) and now the current 70-300 VR.

Thanks for responding to the question, Jim. I have been busy and have not checked the post. You are correct. This is the first generation of this series. The lens is around 6 years old.
The lens is in excellent condition and takes good pics. It is an inexpensive way to "reach out".
If anyone is interested, just let me know. Thanks, Bill P.

Donated to a fine Texan who is working with the Boys&Girls Club in his area and needs equipment. If any of you have unwanted gear, let me know and I will pass his contact information on to you. Cheers, Bill P.
