"NX2 Capture Pro: How to White Balance"

US

Sorry for such a basic question, I just installed NX2 and looking for the basic features. The first one is White Balancing, I can only find black, neutral and white point settings- is the neutral the White Balance or is there a specific tool for this?

Thanks,

Doug

The White Balance settings are in the "Develop" section under "Camera Settings".

Thanks Scott.

I found it after a lot of searching. I found it under the edit palette. It is similar but different than the other programs I have used.

Cheers,

Doug

Doug,

I'm not sure if you are where I think you are?

Just in case: In the Edit LIST, open Camera Settings and the top item is White balance.

Set Colour Temp allows you to change your in camera setting to whichever you want. If you think that you can spot a NEUTRAL tone in an image, use Set Gray Point (instead of Set Colour Temp).

Doug the reaon it is different is you are changing the captured camera settings in NX2 in the WB panel. It is as though you went back in time and adjusted it in camera.
